It'll be interesting to see how quickly they can produce the things. I'll most likely be looking for a new device in the new year, maybe a Oneplus 2 will be on the cards for me then. :)

I'd imagine it will be some piece of kit, considering the quality for price spec of the oneplus one. Gonna hold off buying a galaxy note and see what this will be like.

I was going to purchase the One Plus One this week but I'll hold off for this now. I believe there were some issues initially with the One, is that correct? Might be worth waiting a couple of months until they iron out any that crop up with the Two.

€450 would put it past my affordability bracket. That's a shame as I was looking forward to it.

A mi3 good alternative, not quiet as high spec, can be picked up cheaply enuf on adverts used or new thru the usual sources

Plenty of Roms avail, if needed , incl Andriod Lollipop 5.1

Its successor the mi4 has dropped in price last week

I'm guessing you'll need a voucher like the previous one to buy it in the first place.

$450 plus import duties and VAT? At today's rates that adds up to a lot of money. No doubt an excellent phone like the 1, but it would be far out of my budget for a phone

I very happily bought the Elephone P7000 recently for a bit over €100 landed. Very close in spec / performance to the 1 at a fraction of the price.

It was the launch event. I was lucky enough to get it at the launch price of $159. I think it took about 7 weeks before I got it because of production delays (and I didn't order it in white :D). My seller refunded me $10 twice because of the delays. So $139 at the exchange rate of about 2 months ago. About €120. And it didn't get intercepted by customs. So I was lucky.

Normal price is $229, which is still pretty good value for money, but watch out for those charges before you get it home. Oneplus 2 is obviously a far superior phone, but you will need to spend a lot of money to get one.

Looks like a very decent phone.
I am looking at an upgrade shortly and was going to look at a one plus 2, But might go for one of these instead.

Sorry, I hate to break up the discussion but this would be better suited to the Mobiles or Android forums where there's already a thread about this phone.
