I know there are lots of products around for this at the moment and I have tried most of the new ones however none of them compete with my Roux one, its about 5 years old and still some use left in it, its like a stick that you just wet and apply to the gray bits until you visit the hairdresser.

I use the Root Touch up dye. Its great aroung the front of hair and on middle parting. Gets me an extra 3 weeks before I have to go to hairdresser. And its always on offer in Boots.

Bumble and bumble hair powder. It's brilliant. It's also expensive but the can lasts ages.

Does it leave your hair sticky?

Making notes of all of these. I found the "lipstick-style" one didn't really work - I had to wet it a lot and then really scrub it in...not very effective.
