Sale of paintings

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I have 4 paintings which my dad purchased around 2007. He has recently passed and we have no room for these large pieces. I have contacted a few galleries in dublin and they mentioned they only auction Irish paintings. They are from an Italian artist, approx 130X90 cm, different technique used in each. Each painting was bought for approx €4000. I have receipts of purchase etc. Any ideas at all where I can go to perhaps sell them?
    Thanks.

I presume you've tried all the obvious auction houses such as James Adams, de Vere's etc. but just in case you haven't here's a link which lists all salerooms in the 26 counties. http://collectireland.com/auctions-2/ :)

Matthews in Oldcastle might be worth a try as he sells everything and mostly very upmarket stuff.
