When was your last bad day?

When was the last time you had a bad day? And what caused it?

Today was a bad day for me. Got up wrecked after lamenting the great thing I had with a girl who now doesn't want to see me anymore. Then in work, maybe it was the weather but practically everyone was in a bad humour. I got frustrated over a few things I couldn't figure out, then in my tired stupor ended up saying stupid things to people who might have taken them the wrong way (I'm sure I came across as an asshole). Then I had to scramble to complete some work another guy was supposed to do last week, after my boss was asking for it. In a meeting then I got the impression my boss was talking over me asking others to do work I normally would, deliberately, so I felt like sh*t. All the while the tiredness had me like a zombie on autopilot the whole day, getting frustrated at the smallest bloody thing. And now I'm paranoid my co-workers hate me!

Now I'm home and in a right bloody humour, thought about going to the gym but couldn't be arsed.

    UGH. Ughhhhhh! F*ck today, seriously.

When was your last bad day?!

Last Monday was a bad one for me,
    Car broke down ,
I blocked myself out of my own phone as I put in password wrong 10 times ,
My bank card was blocked just that day as they seen suspicious activity on it the month before ,
Bad day but got over it...

    Apart from today?

Yesterday, and then the day before that and the day before that. All caused by a blister on my little toe which means I'm limping around the ****ing place instead of out running in this weather.

If I cut it off would I overbalance?:pac::o

Load up your iPod with your favourite songs, head out to the beach if there's one nearby, point yourself in a direction and just run. Run until your lungs feel on fire, your legs ache and your head feels like it's gonna explode. Come home, shower, and have a cold lemonade with ice. You'll forget why you were ever pished off.

Happens me at least once a week, I've a bit of pressure in work. I do the above and find it really helps.

Last Thursday, finally broke by a bullying housemate and ended up calling her a c**t . In the process of moving out now. No regrets about leaving, do regret loosing my temper though, I let myself down.

    Yesterday, Tuesday 7th July.
Received email from courier on 2nd July to say that delivery would be effected to my residence 7th July.
The package did not arrive that day.
Then for the sake of it I decided to track the package on the courier website.
There were 2 delays, both due to "Emergency Situation/Extreme Weather Event".
Delivery will now be attempted tomorrow, 9th July, by the courier.
Hmmm. Since I won't be personally available, somebody else will but may not be available to answer the knock on the door, I can foresee a visit to the courier depot to pick up the thing.

No email was sent by the courier after the 2nd July to say there would be a delay. Ok, I should have tracked the package earlier, I'll concede that.
And I won't be doing business with that online store either.

    Tuesday 16th June, 2015. 10.43am CET.

I made a very costly mistake in work. A fundamental error of judgement that cost one of my clients a considerable amount of money, and has tarnished my reputation within the department, and indeed the organisation in general.

Use Parcel Motel if you can, once the package is small enough to store you won't have to worry about going to a courier depot!

I am stuck living in a country I absolutely hate- I have no social life whatsoever and zero friends after 5 years. I work constantly just to distract me and I am on a downer Fridays when I leave work so I go in all day Sunday as I have 'eff all else to do. Parenting all day Saturday.

In fact last November I was in work 26 out of 30 days- I don't get paid overtime or extra- how pathetic is that?

Childcare costs, mortgage etc means I 'eff all money to do anything anyway even if I had spare time.

My wife's work arrangements and parenting duties means I have no time to take up hobbies or to myself. The wife is from here so no difference to her- all her friends and family still around.

I even now resent the wife and subconsciously trying to make her life miserable. Her dying or leaving me would actually be a release- what a thing to write! But I have a wonderful 3 yr son so I am not leaving him- I made my bed so I must just suck it up.

I was in Ireland last week for a few days and now totally depressed to be back here which is usual. In fact, I am going to find myself going to Ireland less and less in the next few years as the downer when I leave is too much....:(

But then again, it's not like I live in Syria or Iraq so I will bottle it up and get on with it.

My day? My decade has been ****.

In a similar predicament with the OP as regards to what has me down. Went from having a whirlwind relationship with a girl I genuinely adored, to her giving me the cold shoulder for a day (knew the writing may have been on the wall), and her eventually breaking up with me on Monday. Went from having very little sleep due to either constantly thinking about her or staying up all night talking to her, to not being able to sleep at all as my mind is going ninety wondering was it me or her.

Just want to curl up into a ball and switch off from the whole world, but obviously can't due to life getting in the way.

Oh women, why do you and your ways affect me so badly?

    Stop thinking about her.

Start thinking about you and why it didn't work out.

I have a positive outlook most of the time, so I suppose what many would consider a bad day, I'd take the good with the bad and just be grateful for the many positives.

The last bad day I had was in September 2013, when I ended up in hospital, after surgery I was on crutches for 4 months... Not nice.

The good days are few and far between unfortunately and getting worse for the past year or so. Long term difficult situations deteriorating and new issues arising all the time. The fact I've actively tried to improve things over the past couple of years just makes things worse tbh. Some days I wonder what's the point of carrying on at all. Future looks bleak.
