Have just been accepted an RPT position - was in a permanent position for the last ten years but have been trying to relocate nearer to my home area in the last few years so was successful this year.Just received forms to fill out from new school from the Dept of Education.Just winding if any body here has been in same postion as me before - I presume I stay on my permanent contract till I actually start working in new school at the end of august

Assuming your new job starts 1/9/15 just draft a letter for your old job and offer your resignation from it as of 31/8/15
