Help Needed - Emergency towel situation

Sorry for the alarming thread title but does anyone know where I'd get 35 cheap golf bag towels this weekend or early next week ??

I'm looking online but they're coming in around a tenner each.

No idea really but do you only need them short term? Could you get on to one of the club hire companies and see if they'll rent them to you?

My dad used to use bar towels from a pub (with beer names on them) would a local brewery have some they can give you/sell you? Not very health- promoting but might be ok as a once off.

I would have said ring a few golf shops. I'd imagine if you mention you want 35 of them they'd be open to some negotiations on price

They are for a captains weekend next weekend. He wants to give each player one.
He left it way too late and called me tonight to see if I knew anywhere that'd have something cheap. I'll phone around a few shops in the morning.

It'll cost him a small fortune now I'd say.

Reading the thread title reminded me of a horrible 5 a side memory!

Poor fella living in a bedsit would ask for a lend of your towel after you have had shower every week.....duuuurrrrtyyyy!

Can never understand prices of "golf towels", they're just towels, get them in Heatons and a face cloth for cleaning your ball, black ones the best, simple as...
