    Hello,

I have installed a new upgraded efibre service in the office.
Client used to have access to OWA/email on port 443.
Since the new F2000 modem installed, when they try to connect to same addres /link...i have the login page from the modem.

How do i disable the remote management and/or the modem to listen on port 443 !?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Any help please ...anyone !?

Called Eircom broadband support line and they said is an internal problem !!!
I mean, a new Eircom modem that has remote management enabled by default AND listening to 443 port for management...is an internal problem and despite the internal email server been in DMZ...I've been told to ask the IT guy to call on site and resolve the issue and the phone call got guess what... disconnected!!

    What a fcuking joke...

Your old modem must have had port forwarding enabled to redirect Port 443 to the mail server on your internal LAN. This is something someone working in or for your company would have done after Eircom originally installed it.

You (or your IT guy) need to configure the new eFibre router to do the same thing.

Have you confirmed you have the same static IP address on the new router as you did on the old? Type "what's my IP address" into Google to find out what it is now, and make sure it matches what your remote users are trying to connect to.

    Thanks.

Same IP address, name and ip number.
On the F2000,ive set the server on the DMZ and also created another rule in NAT for OWA & 443 & HTTPS.

On the phone now ,again, with Eircom asking to replace the F2000 with an F1000 !

    simple put it...mad.

Maintain - Remote Management - Uncheck and reboot.

Yesterday I was on Static IP, today in the morning i'm on Dynamic IP address on my "new" account !!
    Is getting worse...
