Mk4 mondeo locking issue

Ive a mk4 mondeo and there appears to be something wrong with the locks. I waa blaming the kids but it may not be them.

When i put the fob lock on it locks all doors. When i press it to open them only the doors on one side work. This is not specific to one side and sometimes they will open and the one door on the other side wont open. This is even the case when i try open with the key. Any ideas?

Also sometimes when the wipers are on and its raining and i turn them off they wont turn off. Even when i take the key out of the ignition they stay on.

Do i have a common fault somewhere! ?

Thanks. Looking for all your expert advice here ☺

Sounds like you have a bcmii problem that is your passenger compartment fusebox its under the glovebox in the passenger footwell.
Check those connections make sure there is no corrosion and they are tight.

Another thing to check is the two front door plugs where the door wiring harness connects into the body they sometimes get corroded and cause all sorts of problems.
    Start with your drivers door.

More than likely something up with the modules.

Just on the off chance however, the zonal locking may be activated. Watch the video and mess around and see if you can rectify it.

Checked all those problems as best i could yesterday.

I noticed if i press the fob about 20 times the problem doors gradually open. (Sometimes) You can see the door Lock opening bit by bit every time i press the fob.
