    Hi,

Paid online today, but did not receive an email confirmation and nowhere on the site can I find a history of transactions.
My online account is still showing unpaid, although I can see the transactions gone from my bank account.

    Thoughts?

I'd have a similar query, I paid for a house I lived in for January via online banking, there was a field for 'bill reference number' but all I had was my account number, in general would that have been enough to associate the payment with my account?

When you complete a payment online you should receive an authorisation code on screen. Have you received this? Payments can take several working days to process on your account. If you still have concerns about this payment in a few days, please feel free to contact us again and we would gladly check your account for you.

Your Irish Water account number should be used for the bill reference number for online banking payments. We would be more than happy to check if your payment has gone through if you could send the following details through private message:

    - Name;
    - Address and
    - Contact number.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to contact us again should you have any further queries.

    Kind regards,
    Allanah

    Hi,

Yes a transaction number flashed up, I didn't make a note of it as I expected to receive an confirmation.
The account is still showing up as unpaid despite the money leaving my account 2 days ago.

    Thank you for that update.

Although the account is showing as unpaid, if the authorisation code showed up on screen - this is the confirmation that the transaction has been made.

If you are still concerned we can look into your account for you sometime next week as payments may take several working days to process onto your account.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask.

    Kind regards,
    Kim
