Looks like I have a case of rising damp in house from a basic google . Cracks and bubbles in plaster about a foot off the ground on most of ground floor around a 30+ year old semi d . Have had some gutter issues ie spilling onto front carpark of house area. would that cause it .
Should I be worried? What can I do or contact anyone recommend anyone in Galway area ? thanks

What are the walls constructed from? How much of the wall is affected? It is very likely that the gutter issue has caused or contributed to this problem. How recently have you noticed the problem?

Hi I assume brick ? not really sure. House built mid 80s and am there about 4 years with no issues . Happened about two weeks ago came home one day and literally cracks in plaster/paint on walls around 2/3 of ground floor had appeared. Gutter has leaked regularly on heavy rain over winter . Driveway slopes down as well from drive entrance to front door .
