I have had great service for years. Went with efibre as soon as it was available. It was superb even though could only get 30mb max (Never attained). It is getting steadily worse over recent weeks.

    In the last few weeks:
    Web pages not loading
Video will play and then stop

It is like the speed is all over the shop!
I did a bit of checking last night:
    Time    Speed
    22:27  3.02
    22.28  5.58
    22.30  0.00
    22.31 1.87
    22:33 28.22
    22:56 26.71

    Thanks Jim from Cork

I have escalated this to technical support - I'll get back to you as soon as I have an update on their findings (should be this afternoon)

    Cheers

I have not had an update on this issue....

I was away for two weeks and in that time I had to use my "personal hotspot" on my eMobile phone. The area I was in would have a consistent "3 bars" of service. My daughter commented on many occasions that it was better than our eFibre at home.

I arrived home - reset my modem in the hope that things would have changed....

Video is still slow to load and speed still all over the shop.

    Any updates?

    Still suffering here!

More often than not I cannot even watch a video clip on Facebook.... it will start fine and stop mid way. If you scroll forward it could take a few minutes to catch up....

Sad to say but my Next Generation Broadband was better all round.
I will leave Eircom if I am offered better service from competitors. Shame really.

Here is typical of the results of speed tests (It doesn't include the times where the test could not be completed):
Date ConnType Download Upload Latency ServerName
