Water problems

Apologies if this is the wrong forum but hoping for some information or advice

We live in rented accommodation and the landlady has been of no assistance

Our water goes off each day for a period of time meaning showers, dishwashers etc. are all out of action for a large portion of the day.

The water pressure is not great and it is a ghost estate with the developer not doing nothing anything for its upkeep.
Usually you can hear the water system gurgling away so we know there is no flow of water given the quietness that is there

Any plumbers or DIY enthuaiasts out there have any ideas what the problems are and how they can be fixed??

    Thanks!!

Edit: MODS could you move to the plumbing sub forum please?!

Not sure if this is your problem...but if the water is from a well it maybe the water pump in well..i have a rented property and the water used to shut off constantly...some one had to go to pump house abd reset it, then it would go again...eventually it had to be replaced...it costs residents about €4k with labour and digger etc..

Should be coming from the mains I think. I've rang irish water and the council but no good at our wits end with it now

To update this its a private estate that's a ghost estate apparently there's an outstanding bill on the pump that's the responsibility of the developer but he's washed his hands of it so now we've still no water and apparently no where to turn

You have good grounds to break your contract and just walk away.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

the good thing is we are leaving at the end of the month but that is coincidental to this. Still, means that we've a few weeks without water and its a disaster of a job
