I bought a Mazda 6 new in September 2012. As of today there is 101200 on the clock. As this is under the three years but over the 100k mileage is it normal for manufactures to offer some goodwill should a fault occur now? Or is it generally accepted the warranty is completely expired?

Sometimes you'll get a bit of leeway if you've got a full Mazda history on the car.
