    Hi there,

    Im enquiring regarding 'Mortgage Guarantors'

    How do these work

    E.g.

If parents are acting as guarantors on mortgage.
Does the same mortgage qualification criteria apply

What would the expected qualifications criteria be

    Tks vm

    Good Afternoon Brendan,

Thank you for getting in contact with us and welcome to Boards.ie.

All lending applications and the decision to allow a guarantor are decided on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of the bank. As we are not aware of the specifics of your application, we would be unable to advise on the criteria required for qualification.

We would suggest that you speak to one of our dedicated Mortgage Advisor's to discuss the options and criteria required for your application. You can request a call back here on our website or make an appointment with your branch here

We hope this helps and best of luck with your new home.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
