Bad reaction to Whey Protein Powder - Advice Please!

Have been using whey protein powder for about a year now supplementing protein intake. Usually just take it straight after a workout with some glucose powder and creatine… In the past few weeks, have been noticing a bad reaction (i.e. diarrhea) to it about an hour or two after taking it…. Has anyone else ever had this problem? It only happens on days I take the whey protein, and only ever after I've taken it, so I know this is the issue at hand… Any advice? Am I intolerant to the milk source perhaps in the powder - any alternatives that do the same thing that I can use instead?
    Cheers!

First port of call would be the doctor, as diarrhea about an hour or two after you take it sounds like a very bad reaction!

But I googled it and it appears to be a very common problem with whey protein powder…?

Could be milk, could be creatine
I'm lactose intolerant and I use whey isolate so try that out and take the powder in water or lactose free milk
creatine isn't always 100% with my tummy though, I'd eliminate that first and see

Yes you see I take normal whey powder with lactose free dairy free coconut milk, so if anything dairy-like is setting off my stomach it's obviously the powder as that's the only thing that has dairy in it… Or the creatine, though this has only been happening in the last few weeks, and I've been taking all of this stuff for the past year… Hmmm… Maybe I should try the whey isolate though, yeah, with water.

Try removing elements one by one and see how you react. But if you've been taking the supplements for a year and this is a recent thing, it might be because of something else.

Yeah will do, but I really don't see how, as the problem only occurs, as I said, on days i have the shake, and only ever immediately following it… So it surely has to be something got to do with that

Has your Whey/gluccose/creatine come from the same tub(s)? It could just be a dodgy batch or it might be gone off.

Yeah have been using the same creatine for about a year… I had problems on and off with creatine over the months when I first started using it with my stomach, but I just lowered the dose and it was usually fine… Glucose comes from a new packet every so often, same with whey…
