Irish Rail timetable query

    I am not a regular user of Irish Rail but I need to use the train next week. From looking at the Irish Rail timetable online it states that the majority of train journeys (from Sallins to Heuston) are "Not Available". Does this mean that there will not be any train journeys or is it that I can not purchase tickets online for the journey.

    You can't book online for those journeys.


    Just buy them from the ticket vending machine at the station.

    No. Once the journey is online for thr date you searched for it's scheduled to run.

    The not available relates to the inability to buy commuter tickets online. The online facility for purchasing tickets is there for intercity trains. That's why that text is displaying and why it states not available for those journies.
