2005 Berlingo van, clunking noise from wheel

As above, a clunking noise has developed over my left front wheel. It is mainly when I go over a bump in the road or a pothole and it seems to only be making the noise when the left wheel hits something or goes over something. Also when the steering wheel is at full lock it seems to slip a little.

What do people think this could be?

I have had a quick look at the drop links and track / tie rod ends and couldn't get any play from them and the rubbers wern't split or anything, I was hoping it would be them to be honest? Could it still be them do you guys think or something else?

Sounds like a broken spring. I changed one on the driver side of a partner not long ago, had broken quite badly

More than likely a droplink did you have it jacked up when you tested them ?? If you did try when the wheels are on the ground.

Are you 100% sure the wheel nuts are tight?
