Powdery Grey/white Mildew on walls (with pics)

    Hey guys,

I was helping my cousin clear her old bedroom and we removed a couple of posters/pictures to reveal this greyish mildew growing on the walls (I guess moisture trapped behind them provided a decent environment?).

I was just wondering if anyone could take a look at the pics attached and identify the type and whether or not it's dangerous? Any tips on removal would also be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks

Just paint over it. It looks like it was caused by the posters more or less sticking to the wall and over time it made its mark. I would rub it clean and paint. It doesnt look like a serious issue. Condensation could be the issue and when it got trapped between the poster and wall it marked the paint.
