I'm trying to improve the Dublin Airport Wikipedia page and am wondering if any of these cargo destinations are no longer running or if there's any missing.

    Green = Know are running
Red = Know are no longer running
Red = Don't know if are running
    • Air France Cargo Chicago-O'Hare, Paris-Charles de Gaulle
    • Bluebird Cargo Reykjavík-Keflavik
    • DHL Aviation
      operated by EAT Leipzig
      East Midlands, London-Luton
    • FedEx Express Paris-Charles de Gaulle
    • FedEx Feeder
      operated by Air Contractors
Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow-International, London-Stansted, Manchester
    • TNT Airways Birmingham, Liège, Shannon
    • UPS Airlines
      operated by Star Air (Maersk)
      Cologne/Bonn, Shannon

    Thanks! :)

Star Air one is correct. and DHL to EMA is correct, not sure about Luton. Also not sure if TNT operate regularly, they only come to Shannon once in a blue moon to collect horses...

No scheduled FedEx feeder / Air Contractors services out of Dublin anymore however they do operate on rare occasions if extra lift is required or ad-hoc contingency etc...

Also you can add London STN to the FedEx Express destinations.

LTN is correct some of the time!

Would anyone know about the Shannon cargo destinations?

    Green = Know are running
Red = Know are no longer running
Red = Don't know if are running
    • DHL Aviation
      operated by Air Contractors
      London-Luton, Nottingham/East Midlands
    • FedEx Feeder
      operated by Air Contractors
      Dublin, Manchester, Paris-Charles de Gaulle
    • TNT Airways Dublin, Liège
    • Turkish Airlines Cargo Chicago-O'Hare, Istanbul
    • UPS Airlines
      operated by Star Air (Maersk)
      Cologne/Bonn, Dublin

Also are there any cargo flights at Cork?

    Thanks again.

    Little Ones in Dublin

Woodgate IoM to Dublin daily weeknights with Navajo. CWY2102 / 2103 in and out.

Reconnaissance Ventures ad hoc for TNT on hazardous-cargo flights. Usually callsigns something like REV7[23][AB] using a C310.

BinAir ad hoc charters using Metro from Birmingham or Cologne, usually BID5[AB]. Not sure what these are, possibly supplementary for UPS.

SNN FedEx Feeder operated by Air Contractors .. Destination CDG.. This flight used to route to ORK on the way to CDG to take on more cargo but it was pulled a few weeks ago from OOK and now flies SNN -CDG direct

    F

The regular flights at SNN are the Star Air, the Air Contractors to East Midlands and the Fedex to CDG. The Turkish is seasonal I think.

    No cargo at Cork.

Does BinAir still operate the thursday flight bringing in the domesticated rats?

Aha cheers, I had just modified my post up-thread to ask what BinAir flew :)

Amazing how someone always knows the answer around here.

Looks like BinAir specialise in lab animal transport, they also handle beagles ( along with Aeronova ) and are pursued by anti-testing protestors.

Maybe note that AF in Dublin is one way eastbound!

Thanks for all the replies! :)

What's that black prop plane that comes in during the night? I can't remember the airline.

Where does this come from do you know?

I am mainly looking for scheduled not ad-hoc destinations.

Fairly certain its Coventry, shows up on FlightRadar as those two airports because they are the closest airports around when the flight starts being plotted.

    Thanks, that's what confused me!

There's also a Shorts 360 that very occasionally visits Dublin, looks like the last time was 1st May. D-CRAS or D-CCAS as EXT131 / 132. From Birmingham or East Midlands, can't remember which. Too far back for FR24 replay.

Presumably packets of crisps or empty cardboard boxes, can't imagine a Shed could lift anything heavier :D

Does anyone know if the destinations in blue below are still running? I think that's everything then. :)
    • DHL Aviation
      operated by Air Contractors
      London-Luton, Nottingham/East Midlands
    • FedEx Feeder
      operated by Air Contractors
      Dublin, Manchester, Paris-Charles de Gaulle
    • TNT Airways Dublin, Liège
    • Turkish Airlines Cargo Chicago-O'Hare, Istanbul
    • UPS Airlines

      Cologne/Bonn, Dublin

By looking at Flightradar it appears that Bluebird cargo also operate Dublin to Liege.

They are a TNT subcontractor* so those flights to Liege might be on behalf of TNT. They occasionally appear in Belfast as a contingency sub.

    * as are Jettime, Cygnus, West Atlantic, Pan Air ( occasionally appear with a 146 in Shannon ), A-tran and Ukraine International.

I figured that out when I saw that TNT have their hub at Liege.

Do you know who West Atlantic are operating for?

Nope, it was a scheduled cargo flight, used to come every thursday. I have no idea if it still runs, maybe someone here knows.

Any idea what time it came in at so I can check on Flightradar?

BinAir D-CNAC arrived Dublin from Cologne yesterday evening around 18:00 and away this morning c. 09:25

    http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/d-cnac/

But nothing else logged from Up North since late May. I can usually trap them as I have a clear line of sight down the coast.

Looks like they might share the contract with Aeronova whose Metros EC-JCV and EC-HCH have been in recently and who are also known to handle animals.

Hard to determine from the outside. They appear to be mainly concerned with contracts for smaller courier firms such as Interlink.

They also have an ATP service into Belfast around 01:30 each morning, possibly the same contract.

Now that I think of it... who do DPD use for overnight transport? I wonder...

Edit: oh, Interlink is now part of DPD. So that would be my best guess.

As to the Birmingham / Coventry origin question, they moved all their flight ops over to Birmingham a few years ago. But after new owners bought Coventry airport they enticed at least some of the Atlantic operations back, including Dublin. A tidy amount of cash was involved in the 'enticement'.

That Bluebird Cargo arrives every weeknight from KEF, I presume empty on a positioning flight, it definitely used to day stop in DUB. They've been doing the TNT flight for months now, it's been a while since I've seen one of the other subcontractors on the LGG run.
