Pics are not on a back road, it looks like Mount Merrion/Stilorgan, one of the more affluent areas of Dublin.

Ring him and ask him why he has two cars for sale, he might have a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Personally I'd have a look at it and make a decision when I meet the seller or have a look at the car.

You can also check on motortax.ie when the car was last transferred from owner to owner and make a decision based on that.

    EDIT:

The Merc is taxed as a private vehicle, not as a taxi. It has also not changed ownership in the past three months, neither has the Golf. If the details on the log book match the seller then he's unlikely to be a small time dealer. NCT website says the car is due to be NCT'd on 22/07/15, but he says it's a brand new one which is plausible as it takes a while to put the new cars on the system.

Thanks for the check up Dude. I had actually checked the to see if it had changed ownership, but had forgotten to check the golf. So i suppose it could be a genuine one.

    Thanks a million
