As I was searching for information an another Boards.ie forum lately I saw they had a FAQ sticky which answered all those constantly reoccurring questions and saved me having to trawl through tons of posts to find what I was looking for. I was wondering would it be an idea to do that here? We have so much knowledge floating around here that it would be a great resource. Maybe has been tried already? But if not how about discussing here what information could be put on it and then maybe giving the Mods(they're gonna love me for this) the task of putting it all together in one concise FAQ or Blueprint to Dairy farming thread. The sort of questions I would envisage would be timing of vaccinations, how to work out milk solids, converting litres/units to Kgs, herd potential based on ebi data, spraying products and rates of application(or would this be broadening it too much?). Over to ye guys to discuss, good idea or great idea?

Does the Dairy farming General thread not already cover all that stuff?

Yep it sure does and and all the information I am speaking of is prob buried in there somewhere but can take time to find, especially for newcomers. In no way would I see this as another Dairy discussion thread, this would be alot more concise, good question, correct answer kind of thing.
Ha Reggie you might be right, hardly ten posts to my credit and in Kovus bad books already!

If ya want to know something just ask on the dairy general thread.

Therell be a couple of conflicting replies and a bit of a row and 24 hours later youll be as confused as you were before. Cant go wrong!!!
