Suit: Where to buy/Tailor

I have 2 weddings coming up this year and I need a new suit. I don't need to wear suits for work so this will be strictly for the weddings.
I am looking for a 2 piece blue/navy blue suit. I want to ensure that it is a slim fit suit (I don't like suit trousers which look like boot cut jeans!). I need a new shirt, tie, shoes and belt to go with the suit but shouldn't have much hassle picking them up. Budget wise for the suit, I would prefer not to spend more than 250 Euro.

Has anybody any recommendations on where to look? I've already looked in M&S and nothing has really jumped out at me. Does any have any recommendations for a tailer to go to if any changes are needed?

Based in South Dublin, and work in the City Centre. Thanks!

    Try Protocol on Dawson St.
I saw some navy / blue suits there for around that budget.

They are big for wedding hire, but also sell suits.

Baulmer and a few other suit shops are on that street too, and you may get something with that budget.

If you fancy it, I would recommend Suitsupply. They have fabulous suits, slim fitting jackets and trousers, beautiful materials, well made, and a large range.

Only problem is, they are not in Ireland. You can order online however, the advantage being free delivery and free returns. Basic suit is €249: http://eu.suitsupply.com/en_IE/suits/napoli-blue-plain/P4271.html?start=3&cgid=Suits&prefn1=color&prefn2=styleFit&prefv2=Classic-Napoli&prefv1=Blue

What size are you? I'm normally a 42L and my SuitSupply suit ended up being exactly spot on at that size. I had to let the trousers out a bit though. For tailoring, I recommend Danny Geoghegan, who is on Wicklow Street (just opposite Louis Copeland, it's a small doorway and you go upstairs).

Otherwise, you're going to be restricted with that price range. You could try cheaper shops but you won't get a nice suit. One option might be Savoy Taylor's Guild out in the Kildare Outlet Village - you could get something out there around about that price.
