Thanks for all info, I've managed to get in touch with Patrick, it looks like the logisitcs might not work due to their present locations. We'll have to wait and see. But thanks again anyway! Any other Barbershop Quartets out there?

Culio you got sorted. Cant say I know of anyone now, could try asking School of Music would they know of anyone..

Went walking around town last weekend and jes the amount of super talented buskers on the street was very tempted to ask a sax player would he play at his own

The Upbeats are recent graduates from the School of Music so that won't work unfortunately!

This is the only list I found of barbershop groups, I've heard of 4 in a Bar but they're based a bit further than Cork, but perhaps if you get in touch with these groups they could recommend another group.

Because this is the only barbershop quartet to come out of the school of music in recent times and they're already not available. Also the school is on summer holidays so although admin staff might receive an email, it will be a while before it filters down to any interested/available students.

But he gave it a try already so never mind me :)
