4 weeks away from WWE Battleground, where WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins collides with The Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar. The Architect talked a big game on SmackDown, claiming he’s actually looking forward to his encounter with the mayor of Suplex City. Is Rollins more worried than he’s letting on?

    1. Will The Architect crumble before WWE Battleground?

    2. Is Paige fighting a battle she can’t win?

    3. Will John Cena address Kevin Owens’ U.S. Title challenge?

    4. Are Bray Wyatt’s mind games working?

    5. Has the sun set on The New Day?

Lesnar may not be on Raw tonight, but hopefully Paul Heyman will be.

Pleasantly surprised! Didn't think we'd see him until the Raw before Battleground.

    Rollins sucking up again

Nice to see Kane get a win on Monday Night Raw, to really get the IWC in good form tonight.

Here's a hypothetical question, Say WWE Network charged an extra couple of Euros a month for a live feed of RAW Without any ad breaks would you subscribe,

    I Could be tempted

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

I guess it would be something I'd probably go in for, but more because it would be available. It's not something that I really think of like "I want that." I didn't really bother with the Second Screen thing after I did it for a couple of shows after getting the App either.

I Know the tv companies have to make money but could they not have the ad breaks in-between bouts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

That caused me a lot of anxiety watching Raw back in 1993, I was beginning to see the gaps.

Has Dolphs character changed whatsoever over the years? Lana deserves better.:p

    Rusev is a playa:cool:

    Legit rage from Rusev.

Rollins might as well have is fun, because in battleground lesner will slay him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Just leave Kane please. Ugh 2015 and he is standing strong over Brock.

I get the angle as Rollins has to be given a chance, but Kane is such a waste of time.

I Have a feeling before Battleground the Lesner will take out Kane like break his arm?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

Well I think he works well in this situation, especially that he attacked Brock Lesnar from behind. I'm definitely interested to see what happens between the 2 of them next month now.

Laying Lesnar is so dumb. Just instinctively feels wrong.

Meh show Cena/Owens segment and Reigns/Sheamus were both pretty good. The latter ruined by the Sports Entertainment finish. The Divas match will make botchamania. Hope they give Summer Rae something decent to do.

Nothing interesting can ever from anything involving Kane, he is the absolute pits. Brock runs through Taker, Cena and Reigns and Kane in 2015 stands tall over him. Just didn't feel right at all.

I suppose they may be giving us Brock v Kane at Tokyo instead of Kofi. :(:(

More of immediate concern is what happened to Jamie:

    https://twitter.com/WhiteMooose/status/613185051640074240

He has had spinal injuries in the past.

Don't mean to be bad minded, but 1 down 2 to go?

I'm going to retract last comment there.

Seems jamie suffered 3 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Hope he gets better soon.

I don't mind the beatdown too much; they needed to establish a weakness in Brock. As fun as it might be to see Lesnar murder people, as a face, that's not going to happen. I'd argue the big problem was the beatdown lasted too long. Half the time and make it a "Shock and awe" attack, and it would have gone down better. But it seemed to drag on. Still, it establishes that it's not foregone Brock walks with the title.

    Hope Noble is ok :(

Rest of Raw was meh; got through 3 hours of a show in about 50 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

I'm more annoyed that they basically hit a reset button and it's the same bollocks of Kane and J&J interfering non stop in the Champions matches.

Hope Noble is OK but to be honest for a guy with back injuries taking a bump like that from Brock Lesnar of all people? Not smart. Apparently it's broken ribs so it'll be painful but he'll be fine.

The Wyatt stuff is pretty good and what they should be doing with him but he's simply going to lose at the PPV and none of it will matter. The "heroic" babyface Reigns will overcome the odds and Wyatts mind games and yet again Wyatt will fail and his character will go nowhere.

I feel sorry for Jamie being injured but it would make a great story for the wwe coming up to battleground. With Brock taking out Kane and Joey Mercury it would make it a great Main Event and make brock look really strong, even though he doesn't need it.

    And then suddenly.....

Stupidest bit on Raw: Why in the hell was Reigns included in the Terminator ad! Pointless addition!

Really thought the beat down lasted too long. Could have even had a save from Ambrose thrown in, only for Brock to f5 him because he needs nobody's help, but I guess Rollins needs to look good until the raw before Battleground

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Oh, and i've ranted about this before but this Ziggler/Lana/Rusev stuff is HORRIBLE.

They've basically killed all 3 dead. Lana and Ziggler have less chemistry then Hitler and Jesus of Nazareth would have. It's just painful to watch how they've made this woman who was strong and something different and interesting, into a generic damsel in distress. For all the propaganda, WWE still lives in the dark ages. Only Steph is allowed to look strong on TV it seems.

**** you Kevin Dunn or whoever is responsible for this garbage.

Still that is more chemistry than DiBiase & Maryse had.

Well it should make sense, putting Lana with a serious crowd favourite like Ziggler, it's just that they themselves haven't made it work rather than it be an awful idea

Oh yeah that was bad. In Ted's defence though he was newly married and probably felt uncomfortable around a 10 like Maryse.

That chokeslam on Ambrose looked terrible.

And now I'm getting confused by the divas again. Was that heel tag team versus heel tag team for some reason? Because there are no faces apart from Paige. Come to think of it, is she the only face in the divas?

Yea was weird indeed , It nearly came across as The Bellas were the faces

Didn't one of the ex-writers say that WWE policy is that the divas division doesn't have faces/heels? Instead it's just a load of women bitching about each other. Sadly.

Surely this Lana - Ziggler thing is all a ruse and when Rusev is fit again he'll feud with Ziggler and Lana will turn on Ziggler and go back with Rusev? Otherwise it makes no sense!

It's funny because a few weeks back Meltzer was saying how they might split up Lana and Rusev because they see something special in Lana. But how would putting her with a midcarder be a promotion?

It kinda feels like Bellas are generally heel, but against another heel they default to face for the duration of the match. It's kinda annoying having them flip-flop depending on who they face.
