Engine is kaput

    Hi folks,

    Just figured I'd throw this out there.

    Does anyone know a mechanic in Limerick City area that could look at and repair an engine in a 2002 vw polo. I'm aware it may not be worth saving.

    Long story short I was down in Clare this morning from Carlow the engine lost all coolant and then started cutting out and now won't start I pulled in as quick as possible not to quickly mind as I was on a busy road so probably did the most damage getting it to somewhere I could pull in.

    Also it may well not be worth fixing which isnt a huge issue as new car is being bought next week and we have a second car. It would seem a shame to sell for scrap though she's served me well.

    Any thoughts would be helpful as it is she's staying put till a solution is found.
