    Hi,

Sold my half of an apartment in Switzerland last year and about to apply for a joint mortgage in Ireland. My partner, who is the 2nd applicant has never owned property before.

Would we be considered first time buyer's based on me previously owning a property abroad ?

    Thanks for any info.

nope, if either of you have ever owned property you can't be classified as first time buyers.
