Patio door sticking and hard

    Hi We got our extension build and our double door in the back made by weatherglaze is sticking and some times we have to lift and close. how to get it fixed, Asked our builder they said it some time do he fixed ones and its back again same.

    You can take out the door leaf and put some right size shims under the lower hinge. Another way is to tighten the screw through the frame to pull higher hinge to the construction of the house. It is very popular issue hopefully one of them could help

    Hi thanks for your reply

    we have noticed the top hinge moves some time and it has slight crack , so we have to take whole door out and get new hinge, if so were can buy that

    Is it a heavy door, how many hinges are on it...should be at least 3, if heavy maybe even 4...

    If they are not under guarantee you can try seller or producer, but easier way could be just ebay. Quick look gave me many of them for few euro , just find the same
