Low Calorie lunch in Dublin

    Hi all,

I'm working in Dublin city centre and have been looking for somewhere I can grab a low calorie (~400 cal) lunch. I've been eating in Subway for the past few months. They are great because they give you the calorie count but its getting a bit repetitive.

My problem is I can't stand salads or vegetarian, which seems to rule out most "healthy" places around the city.

Anybody got any suggestions of where else I can try?

    Cheers!

Staple foods is delicious and chopped looks great, are all their dressings really dairy free? Nice.

I don't think OP will find anywhere as all the healthy food is salads or vegetarian/vegan, those places don't suit. I'm not sure what other healthy lunches there could be out and about.

Kanoodle (http://kanoodle.ie/about/) seem to specialise in low calorie meals. They have several dishes around about the 400kcal mark and lots of those are noodle dishes - not poxy salads :)

Marks & Spencer. You can eat in in the Grafton Street branch & they have a range of 'Count on Us' healthy options plus calories listed on all their sandwiches & lunch foods.

Do you like eggs? Would you consider getting omelettes for lunch, a few places do them and I think they are way more filling then sandwiches.

Have you a Microwave in work?
If so why not get some Quiche, or make scrambled eggs
