I have a 2009 ford fiesta, econetic, diesel.

Someone tried to break into my car and has damaged the car lock on the drivers side. It is evident they used a screw driver.
I cannot see what type of screwdriver is needed to remove the lock so that I can take it out to see what needs to be replaced.

Does anyone know what type of screw is used.

You need to remove the door card and then remove the lock from the inside.

    Described in this video

There is a little black grommit above the door lock inline with the door barrell. Take that out and look inside there is a little goldie coloured screw in there get a torx 25 and screw it out till the door barrell is loose it will just pull out when its loose enough be carefull not to go too far.
