When getting electric turned back on in a country house, is it ok to not be there when they do this. They mentioned on the phone to me that someone has to be there but something has came up and can't be there so I'm wanting to know seeing as I wasn't there when they turned me off, why is it I need to be there when turned back on if the lecy box is outside.

Because something could be switched on inside the house when they restore the power. Picture of the oven switch was on when the power is restored and no-one in the house. Its just a safety thing.
