Q5 or A6 avant

    I have a '12 Q5 auto and going to change. Seriously considering the A6 avant. Same spec only without quattro. Haven't found the need to use the quattro surprisingly. Like the Q5, few niggly things and find it slightly small but would buy one again. Thinking the A6 avant would be a better buy. Love to hear what anyone thinks or anyone that has one as they are not as popular as the Q5.

    A6 avant auto quattro for me, one bad winter is all it takes to appreciate what you have.

    You cant get an automatic Q5 without quattro so its either quattro and auto or nothing. Q5 is ageing a little but remains very popular. If you genuinely dont need the quattro go for a 2.0TDI 190 S-Tronic S Line Avant - really smart to look at and nice to drive.

    You can now order the A6 2.0 TDI 190 in Quattro if you feel the need. Not certain when the build weeks for them are commencing but it is available.

    A6 would get my vote because it's a much newer car than the Q5, nav as standard plus a nice few other little bits over the Q. An A6 Avant with the WI5 technology package (heads up display, MMI+, Bose sound system, Reversing camera) is a sweet car.
