Hi

I have had UPC broadband and sky TV for a while now. I have the UPC modem bridged to an Asus router.

I have just signed up for horizon Max for 20 euro cheaper as I was assured I could continue with my current broadband setup by using a splitter for the signal to the existing modem and the horizon box. I plan to keep sky for my TV.

Has anyone done this or will this be a problem. I have no interest in using horizon box just looking for the 20 a month cheaper

the splitter will split TV frequencies and data frequencies and send them to either the horizon box or the cable modem. UPC call this "De consolidation". We are setup this way. We have 2 Horizon boxes in different rooms and 2 cable modems in the office/homelab/datacenter... So, you should be all good...
