Hi guys. Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. My OH works part time at the mo. Is it possible for me to claim tax credits for him even though we are not married. Also I'm due a baby soon. I take it that doesn't effect your tax unless your on one parent family? Thanks

Unfortunately no, only possible in Joint Assessment cases. In order to be jointly assessed, you need to be married. Nothing in relation to having a child either from a taxation point of view.

Ah that's a pity. Thanks though
