slow drain in sink washing machine pushes water

    Hi all,

I hope someone can help me.

Recently the sink stopped draining properly. Very slowly it drains water away but it does drain it.

The washing machine is next to the sink and water accumulates in the drum.

For a while I just used the rinse cycle to get rid of the water in the drum but now when using the washing machine at all ... the sink fills up with a large amount of black mucky goo water.

It then rinses it and then does the same thing again. It again rinses it before stopping it.

Washing cannot be done as there is always dirty water left in the washing machine.

I have just used 1 litre of super heavy duty DuraBond drain and toilet unblocker.

When slowly pooring it into the sink it started hissing and smoking... and smelling.

After this it stopped doing and i flushed it with water.

    Sadly this did not work.

Does anybody have any ideas? What can this be? Is it a block or a faulty washing machine or sink? Maybe the pipework?

I have taken off the u-bend-tube and cleaned it out too.
