Oil Boiler Stove instead of external oil boiler

Hi all,

I am changing the heating system in a house that i recently bought. Its a ten year old house with just oil heating from external oil boiler. I am putting in a solid fuel stove with b/b and possibly solar panels in the future so im also changing the cylinder. i plan to keep the oil system as a backup.

Anyway what im wondering is instaed of putting a new oil condenser boiler outside would it be a good idea to put a small oil stove inside with a b/b on it.....just to supplement the solid fuel stove to warm the house in the evenings while waiting for solid fuel to heat up....this is all i would be hoping to use the oil for even if i go with the condenser boiler. Ive been doing a bit of searching for oil boiler stoves but havent been having much luck, though one sales man told me they can be retro fitted onto an oil stove, but arent a great job.

Any thoughts???

oil condenser boiler with heating controls and back boiler stove would be the way to go in my opinion.The solar panels will only give you 60 percent of your hot water requirements so i would have my doubts if the price of them can be justified.

Thanks Agusta, but my main question was about an oil stove with a back boiler.....are they any good...Does anyone have one???
