    Hi,

Is there anywhere these days where you can offload that stack of cds and dvds that we all still have piled up in the corner? I can find places based in England etc but not much here. Do any shops in Dublin take them any more? How about books?

I've tried the adverts route but most things don't sell.

I have a mountain of DVDs at home, and have thought about bringing them to a car boot sale to get rid. I think that might be the best way, but you're looking at time and effort to do it, plus most places charge to go in and sell. The trouble is though, no one wants to buy DVDs (or CDs) any more, so you're not likely to find anyone who'll pay much, if anything, for them.

Yep, I don't think any individuals want to buy cds as such so was checking if there were shops etc that still take them in. If you have enough of a stash, a few pennies each still adds up and is a handy way of getting rid of them.

Failing that, its off to the charity shop with them!

Chapters in Dublin likely still does but you need thousands before the tiny amount adds up enough.
