Hi I will be starting second year of my course in September, I want to sell a product that's in relation to what I'm doing in college at a Saturday farmers market that runs for 4 hours. As its a Food business I need to register it. Would I need to inform my local welfare office and what would I stand to lose, married with 3 kids, my wife is on JSA. The few euros I make would welfare take it from somewhere else?

You're obliged to inform them but afaik your BTEA stays on the same rate from when you start. Your JA in the summer could be effected as well as your rent allowance and your SUSI grants.
