Probably the wrong place to put it but meh....

Sergio Martinez has officially retired...good decision, he was virtually crippled. Great fighter though, one of my favourites of the last 10 years...what a legend considering he started Boxing late

That's Andy Lee up another place on Middleweight rankings.

There are boxers in the sport other than Andy Lee ffs.

Martinez in his prime was just sick to watch. Incredible hand speed and reflexes. His two fights with Paul Williams were memorable for different reasons. Didn't think he'd beat Pavlik but showed at middleweight that he was a special fighter. Seems like a total gentleman also. And a sexy fcker to boot! :p

An excellent southpaw. A mix of Pacman-Sweet Pea!

Was always a big fan of Maravilla. He had to work incredibly hard to take his place as No.1 middleweight. The way he took Chavez jnr down a few pegs will always be a memory, as will his rematch with Williams. Many will agree that the game was pretty much up after his fight with Murray which was his payday.

He had speed, power, technique & a great boxing brain.

The documentary is indeed on Netflix and is well worth a watch.

Was always a big Sergio fan, however I must confess I haven't seen nearly as many of his fights as I should have. A complete boxer who could do everything, would fight anyone. A true great.

The Cotto fight was hard to stomach, Cotto looked sensational and Martinez looked like he had one leg.
