What do you recommend using in the engine bay to protect the paint? I have the engine out and paint is fresh after a respray so easy access to everything, I have a rubishboys wax I was going to use on the car but though maybe something like gtechnique might be a better call, and I can use our on the rest of the car also.

Not stepping on any toes here but this is getting great reviews,
3 years protection and very easy to keep clean.

How would that look on a dark car, which I should probably have added as it's a Audi estoril blue I painted it.

Also resistance to oil and other chemicals around the bay?

No reason why it wouldn't work with that color.
Several coats ( 3 ) gives super gloss and protection,
This can be used on paint ~ Glass ~ Plastics etc.
As for resistance to oil etc. I really do not know but it is a good protectant against the elements so should be fine.

Dont know much about the Liquid Elements - know the name, but not much about their products. 3 Years is very impressive.

Gtechniq, CarPro, Wolf's Chemicals, etc; all make durable coatings, up to 2 years - regarding resistance to oils, etc; not sure how well they would perform in the engine bay, given the heat and extended exposure to oils, grease, etc; certainly better than nothing anyways.

I was going to suggest Wolfs Wheel seal for heat and oil resistance.
    BUT.

It needs to be maintained with specific shampoo etc so was not sure.

It is a hard call to make.

Wheel wax once a month perhaps?
