Can you get a Medical Card on Supplementary Welfare?

    Long story short, was on JSA for 2ish years, then started a VTOS course last September, had to stop due to mental health problems, stopped getting payed by them and found out I was signed off last September(I did not do that). So now I have to go on Supplementary til I sort out my Disability claim.
    Can I apply for a medical card while on it? Im 22 if that matters :)

    Will supply any other info if nescessary.

    im on an ivalidity pension this past two yrs the wife is working what chance do i have of getting a medicial card

    The best thing to do is to apply for one and let the HSE decide.

    Yes i would definitely apply and see how it goes, the HSE will decide based on circumstances as its not as black and white as a yes or no. Its primarily based on circumstances
