Hi I have full license but only one car for family cut backs etc! I was giving some thought on getting a 49 cc moped .. Just for short trip over and back to work ( on dry days! ) two things .... Can you get a reliable decent moped at 49cc ... No interest in speed .... What general speed would they do ? Second thing ... Can you drive one of these machines on the full license without all the newer motorcycle regs that came in , in recent years thanks

Yes if you have AM on your licence.
If not, its off to do the theory test for motorcyles and then Learner permit and then IBT.

I have that so grand thks ... I think license restricts to 45 kph that's perfect ... Any recommendations on moped at 49cc?

Just be careful with whatever moped you get OP. Bloody cage drivers will try to bully you off the road.

Unless you got a B licence before Oct 2006, when they removed M from the full B.
