True detective is a bit slow to start but gets interesting keep watching.

In the same boat and find it a little slow, but I tend to like shows like that.

On Ep.4 and it gets much more interesting. I like the idea of the show, it's an original take on detective dramas.

its a good show, that is very over-hyped, people have such high expectations when they start watching it, that it will never live up to those expectations,

i dunno how to do it, but lower your expectations,

as stupid as that sounds

unquestionably a good show

I wasn't totally hooked on it until episode 3 or 4, I remember finding the first episode tough going - it really picks up massively about half way through.
