    Guys and girls,

Just wondering is it healthy to drink flavoured water. I'm doing a lot of work on my diet but bog standard H2o is something I never really enjoyed drinking.

I read there could be a lot of sugar in them but looking at the nutritional information on the bottle there is zero fat or sugars.

This stuff im talking about http://www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=277144273

I once bought one of these I think it was strawberry flavor but after first few sips it landed straight in the bin, you could actually taste the chemicals in it, now I make my own fruity waters mostly with limes, cucumbers or grapefruits.

Or chemiKILLS as I like to call them!! Hahahahahaha! But all joking aside, you're right about chemicals, if you taste ANY chemicals, safely dispose the product and don't look back. I'd be weary about your homemade fruity water, they tend to be very chemical ladden too. I'd advise you to get a sample sent away to a lab and get it tested for the presence of '2-hydroxypropane-1,2,3-troic acid' as well as 'oxidane'. Remember, chemicals are always bad, it's as simple as.

IF you can't pronounce it, stay away.

    Black and white.

No. There's nothing wrong with flavored water. Choose sugar free. I highly doubt the absolutely miniscule amount of chemicals or sweeteners in a bottle of water are what you should be concerned about in your diet.

Some may have higher sodium, if that's something that concerns you... But again. It amounts to next to nothing.

Water H20 is a chemical. " chemicals are always bad, it's as simple as."

Please give an example to something human beings ingest that is not a chemical.

    Gravy isn't a chemical.

When I said it had chemical taste I was referring to this particular brand, I'm not saying every flavored water is bad, the same goes for my homemade fruity waters, I make them with spring water and fresh fruits, find them refreshing and tasty and that's how far it gets.

I am not sure if this is serious or joking? If chemicals are always bad, then you need to redefine what a chemical is because there's 0 escaping ingesting chemicals and getting exposed to chemicals. No way. Whatsoever. Nada. Water is also a chemical by the way.

He's not being serious. 2-hydroxypropane-1,2,3-tropic acid and oxidane are citric acid and water.

In my personal experience I think that ti's not that bad but it's not good ether, because for the water to have taste they use some artificial sweeteners... So that can be too good...

Agree. Those drinks are horrible. Very chemically. I'd be careful of a lot of healthy drinks. See Irish fresh fruit cordials on the market and when you examine them they are full of sugar.
