Springboard course and part time work

I just got offered a Springboard course which I applied for a while back. It's a full time, 1 year hdip. I am currently working part time and would like to keep the job if it is practical to manage the hours (remains to be seen).

If I did keep the job, would I receive the same reduced payment from welfare that I currently am getting as a part time worker, or would I get a full 188e, non means tested payment similar to BTEA?

In the event that I can't manage the hours, would welfare accept me leaving the job to pursue the course, and give me the full 188e a week?
