Was under the impression my Broadband's installation process was totally free. Turns out they took €6 for activation. Would activation not be part of installation?!? :pac: I was "switched on" on a certain date ie: starting point from when I could first access and use the Internet, and their explanation (after-the-event  ) is that I'm getting charged €6 for activation, it was activated 3 days prior to me being switched on.

Simply Broadband Customers did ye all get charged for activating the thing too even though was told all I'd have to pay for is using it...

Have you asked them where they inform prospective customers of this charge and how they obtain the agreement of the customer to pay it?

    Remind them of this:

Sounds like you were charged pro rata for the first three days before the billing period began.

Sorry what does that mean? Sorry now I'm a bit of a ditzy brunette! :p See Sig :D Does that mean I fell into the previous month's Billing-Period but that they only charged me €6 instead of billing me for a full month? Or do ya mean something else... That still wouldn't explain though why they charged me that early before? Like they only turned me on 3 days later... Anyway shure will ask them and see what they have to say. Thanks for yere help.
