Hi all

My white MacBook grinded to a halt last night and shut down , the grey screen and apple logo with spinning where is only thing that shows up when I restart it

I have managed to get it on the on the utilities screen and but it won't go no further

The mouse moves around but won't allow me to click on the screen to get past it

Any ideas on how I can get around this ? I'm looking to try and save data etc

try connecting a usb mouse to see if you can select anything
