Boundary check in surveyor report?

Howdy, I've a couple of quotes that have come in from chartered surveyors on a building survey request I sent them. Just noticed that neither include any sort of boundary check in the report - is that normal? Are there surveyors who do and if so, is it at the detriment of the level of detail in the building survey. i.e.…

Howdy,

Just noticed that neither include any sort of boundary check in the report - is that normal? Are there surveyors who do and if so, is it at the detriment of the level of detail in the building survey. i.e. should I just pay for it as an add-on.

Mine did it as part of survey, its a very quick thing for them to do especially if its in an estate
