Unusual shower head - Needs Replacement

    Hey,

I'm trying to replace my shower head but it's not one of the usual shower heads. I've tried searching online but to no avail, it seems like it is an old american type of shower head?

I've attached photos to give an idea. In the photo where it is screwed in to show it's width (3/4") it was a very tight fit so either the threads were different or else the shower head is just a touch larger.

I'm renting so if I had my choice I'd just replace the whole thing.

Anyone know where one of these shower heads can be located?

You've only taken 1/2 the shower head off, the part with the ball/nut should come off too. There'll be two flats to get a spanner on to it.

The thread on the pipe coming from the wall is usually a standard. There's a guy on adverts.ie from Ashbourne selling good quality replacement heads for €5, I bought two from him to have a spare.

You're right! Never noticed that it could be further removed. Thanks!
