    Helianthemum ben mohr, whem bedding is finished, plant it on the ground. Geum would be another possible, calendula( flowers most of the year)

    If you can source Garvinia, a type of perennial Gerbera, it would fill that spot nicely but not everywhere stocks them. Failing that, Calendula.
