    Where are artichoke and cardoon plants to be had?

    Garden centres normally stock small artichokes up to about now and then larger ones from about now onwards, so they might just be between batches at the moment. Cardoon is trickier to find but available in bigger garden centres occasionally.

    You can grow them fairly easily from seed too.
